Rite-Angle BuddyTM
The Rite-Angle Buddy is the perfect answer to an aviators question, "Can a Light Sport Aircraft, Hang Glider or Motor Glider have the benefits of an AOA system?" The answer is a resounding "YES!" Like its more feature rich brother, the Rite-Angle Companion, the Buddy is a modern, up-to-date system that accurately determines your aircraft's angle of attack. Designed as a lower cost AOA system for aircraft without flaps, the Buddy uses the enhanced version of the LED Display.
Components
The Buddy display is practical and effective. As recommended by the FAA, the green LED, when lit, indicates Safe. If the Amber LED lights up, that indicates Caution. The red LED indicates Danger. Simple tabs enable the installation on the panel. The quick lock connector, ensures the harness will remain firmly connected in the toughest of flight conditions.
The small vane installs in a variety of ways, adapting to the needs and desires of the aircraft owner. You can work directly with EMA to ensure correct positioning and installation if necessary.
